Freak accident that killed 'Rothschild heir' at LA home revealed

A man who claimed to be an heir to the Rothschild banking dynasty died in a blaze that after suffering a stroke while cooking.

William Alexander de Rothschild, 87, was found in an 'unrecognizable condition' .

Officials ruled de Rothschild, who told his neighbors he was from the prestigious family, had been in the kitchen when he suffered the medical emergency.
