While seagulls are not normally welcome guests on seaside excursions, this friendly herring gull – known locally as Gulliver – has won over tourists and mariners in Devon, where he regularly perches on Teignmouth and Shaldon ferryman Pete Brock's head in search of scraps of food.The amusing moment was caught on camera.While seagulls are usually regarded as a nuisance in most seaside towns, this one seems to have built up a friendly rapport with Pete as it is not the first time it has adopted the unusual position.
