The Federal Trade Commission has filed a complaint aimed at stopping Microsoft from buying Activision Blizzard, the video game titan behind titles such as Call of Duty and Candy Crush.Microsoft, which owns the Xbox video game console, said in January 2022 that for $68.7 billion in the biggest gaming industry deal in history.In its administrative complaint on Thursday, the FTC alleged that the deal 'would enable Microsoft to suppress competitors to its Xbox gaming consoles.'
