A Georgia school has been placed on lockdown following reports of an active shooter.

Apalachee High School in Winder in Barrow County, 25 miles west of Athens, was put on hard lockdown Wednesday morning, reported.

The news outlet said it has received multiple calls about a shooting, which remains unconfirmed.
