British socialite has officially filed paperwork to appeal her conviction and 20-year sentence for conspiring with sex pest to exploit and sexually abuse minors.Maxwell, 60, filed the notice of appeal in New York federal court on Thursday, just over a week after she was sentenced to serve time in a low security Danbury, Connecticut prison for sex trafficking young girls.She was convicted on federal sex trafficking charges last December, following a trial that lasted nearly a month.
