A newly-created House Republican run committee on 'weaponization' of government is preparing to fire off subpoenas – with plans to focus on the Justice Department and school board protests that erupted last year.House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) has already fired off a letter to retired agent Timothy Thibault charging 'abuse and misconduct' at senior levels in the Justice Department. Republicans have accused him of partisanship related to the probe, conduct his lawyers deny.It was cosigned by Darrell Issa, a former chair of the Oversight panel when it probed Benghazi. He is among a core group of Republicans on a new subpanel on the 'weaponization' of government, chaired by Jordan.
