Harvard sidelined crisis comms team before Gay's disastrous testimony

Harvard's crisis communications team was sidelined ahead of the president's disastrous testimony, it has emerged - with a lawyer who until recently was the leader of the Harvard Corporation preparing her instead.

Claudine Gay, 53, has been before the House Education Committee.

Gay and two other university heads - the presidents of MIT and the University of - were called to testify about efforts to combat anti-Semitism, which has surged following the October 7 terror attack and 's subsequent response.
