If you've never met your neighbor before, there's a good chance you got a chance to say hello this week when they showed up at your driveway with a snowblower — no questions asked.
Or, maybe the person you'd normally flip off for cutting you off in traffic on your way to work happened to be the generous guy with a shovel who offered to dig you out of a snow drift when your car got stuck on the highway this week.
Thankfully, when the Garden State's weather is at its worst — like it has been this past week with two back-to-back nor'easters and more than a foot of snow dumped on parts of the state — Jerseyans seem to be (for the most part) at their best.
So, if you have a helpful neighbor — whose name you just can't seem to remember — leave a cold one on his doorstep if he cleared off your sidewalk while you were still warm inside the house. By Jessica Beym | For NJ.com
