A mansion built in the 1920s for Macy's heir Herbert Straus is set to hit the market for a whopping $1.57 million. The home, which is located in Middletown, was custom-made for the son of Macy's co-owner and U.S. Congressman Isidor Straus, who perished on the Titanic with his wife, Ida - who refused a seat in a lifeboat to remain at her husband's side while the ship was sinking. The estate - which was converted from a dairy farm that originally consisted of 143 acres - boasts five private residences, however it is the main unit that has now gone up for sale for the first time in 50 years.
