Horror in Germany as car ploughs into crowd at Christmas market

A car drove into a group of people at a market in the eastern German city of Magdeburg on Friday.

The driver of the car was arrested, the agency said, citing unidentified government officials in the state of Saxony-Anhalt.

Local media has reported that several people may have been injured and possibly killed.
