The House passed a bill 219-210 to codify the right to an abortion on Friday and passed one 223-205 to ensure women can travel across state lines to get the procedure if necessary.Every voted against the 2022 Women's Health Protection Act to codify abortion rights, and every except Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, voted for the bill. The House voted to pass the Ensuring Access to Abortion Act, which would enshrine protections for interstate abortions, with three Republicans joining all Democrats in voting yes.
