House Democrats unveiled a new stopgap spending measure Monday that would fund the federal government through early next month and avert a shutdown. The legislation would keep the government open through March 11 as well as provide $350 million to address water contamination issues in Hawaii. The House is expected to vote on the bill Tuesday. Congress has until Feb. 18 to approve a funding measure and send it to President Biden to sign.
