Iceland has been rattled by more than 600 in a matter of hours, with experts warning that magma is rising ever closer to the earth's surface fueling fears of an imminent volcanic eruption. The Fagradalsfjall volcano has been threatening to erupt for days, Iceland's Met Office said, adding that the 'likelihood of a volcanic eruption is high' and could happen at anytime in the coming days.Thousands of quakes over the past week have turned the nearby fishing community of Grindavik into a 'ghost town' as 4,000 residents were forced to evacuate, with videos showing homes torn apart and gaping chasms opening up in roads.
