The International Monetary Fund cut its global growth forecast for 2022 due to slowing economic recovery in the US and China as well as the rise in COVID-19 cases and lingering disruptions in the supply chain.Global GDP, which reached 5.9% last year, has been revised downward to 4.4% this year, the IMF said in its World Economic Outlook report, which was published on Tuesday.In the fall, the IMF projected that global GDP growth in 2022 would reach 4.9%.
