Infamous celebrity hotspot the Friars Club in Manhattan has been put up for sale after its illustrious 118-year history failed to save it from a major debt crisis. The A-list haunt, which counted Frank Sinatra and among its famed members, is set to sell for upwards of $18million after facing a mountain of debt. Page Six reports that following the pandemic, the institution was forced to borrow roughly $13 million to stay afloat.
