Inflation figures are out - here's what it means for your 401(k)

This morning was a big day for Americans who want to buy a home or keep an eye on their 401(k)s.

US stock index futures jumped positive after consumer price inflation eased more than expected in June - boosting for interest-rate cuts from the later this year.

An update to the (CPI) showed is cooling. Annual CPI for June was 3 percent, lower than the rate for May.
