The home where a little boy was found locked in a kennel is littered with confederate flags, children's toys and even a 'pet produce' sign on the freezing outdoor structure where he was being forced to live.

Exclusive photos taken by DailyMail.com at the home reveal how owner Shelley Lucille Barnes, 56, proudly displays the flags on the porch and on a gate.

The house in Lexington, North Carolina, was where Shelley was living along with her niece, Sarah Starr, 40, and Sarah's husband Jonathan Starr, 32, until October 19, when concerned neighbors called police to report a child being kept outside.
