Former chief Jeff Zucker, who was forced to resign following revelations that he had a decade-long affair with a subordinate, is reportedly in talks to lead a $1 billion sports investment fund. Zucker is said to be in negotiations with RedBird Capital Partners founder Gerry Cardinale about leading the New York-based firm, reports. RedBird Capital Partners owns part of the New York sports network YES, the Italian soccer team AC Milan, and recently acquired the XFL football league with partners and Dany Garcia.
