A judge has resigned from his position after an with alleged links to a feared gang was caught living in his guesthouse.Doña Ana County Magistrate Joel Cano filed his resignation letter on March 3, just days after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at his home in the hunt for 23-year-old Cristhian Ortega-Lopez. Ortega-Lopez in December 2023 and met Cano's wife Nancy when he was hired to install a glass door for her.
