Kenosha County ravaged by BLM riots goes red after decades of Democrat

Kenosha County in the state of Wisconsin has been captured by the for the first time in decades having been the focal point of protests in 2020 which led to $50 million worth of damage and the trial of .

The state turned red for the first time in since 1998 and saw Samantha Kerkman elected as county executive.

Kerkman was backed by Republicans although the race was described as being 'nonpartisan' and was running against Rebecca Matoska-Mentink.
