'It's not like you're not allowed to literally not say gay' Maher, 66, said during the 'Overtime' segment of the late-night program, of the backlash since the bill made it through Florida's Republican-dominated Tuesday, and is not set to be signed by Governor Ron DeSantis. 'They just don't want teachers talking about it. They think it's the province of parents,' Maher said.
