Man savaged by shark while fishing in Florida

A man faces a grueling recovery following a 'severe' shark attack this past Friday, the aftermath of which was caught on camera.

The images, released by The Nassau County Sheriff's Office Saturday, show the unnamed victim sitting in a rescue boat immediately after the vicious thrashing, during which he suffered a bite to his right arm.

Bleeding out, the fisherman was eventually airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he is still listed in critical condition.
