A fast-moving blaze that started at a luncheonette in downtown Dover on Monday destroyed up to six businesses, left more than 100 people homeless and kept firefighters working through the night to douse the flames, authorities said.Firefighters remained at the scene Tuesday morning more than 16 hours after the fire broke out round 3:30 p.m. in the basement of Barry's Luncheonette on North Warren Street and escalated to seven alarms.The fire appears to have been fed by a gas line, officials said.
