Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Tuesday it's 'possible' that the could screw up their chances of retaking the Senate this fall, pointing to some 'bizarre' candidates of the past. 'This atmosphere for Republicans is better than it was in 1994. So from an atmospheric point of view it's a perfect storm of problems for the because it's an entirely Democratic government,' McConnell said at a Chamber of Commerce event. In 1994, Republicans won the House of Representatives back after 40 years and took control of the Senate.
