Milwaukee postal worker, 48, shot dead while delivering letters

A USPS letter carrier of 18 years was shot dead last Friday as he delivered mail on the north side of Milwaukee.

Police are searching for a suspect who was captured on surveillance video firing a single fatal round at Aundre Cross, 44, before fleeing in a gray Audi SUV.

Cross, a father of three, was working his route when he was shot just before 5pm, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
