Authorities in the United States on Wednesday have identified a 24-year-old woman and her one-year-old son as the victims of a fatal polar bear attack in an isolated Alaska Native village.The fatal mauling happened on Tuesday in Wales, a coastal community that is no stranger to co-existing with polar bears, situated along the Bering Strait on the westernmost tip of the North American mainland — about 80km (50 miles) from Russia.Summer Myomick of Saint Michael and her son, Clyde Ongtowasruk, were killed in the attack, Alaska State Troopers said in a statement.
