A mother is begging state officials to continue looking for her five-year-old son who was swept up in floodwaters last month, as she fears they have given up on the search.Lindsy Doan and her husband Brian have taken have been combing through the banks of the Salina River with their own shovels and trying to employ their pets as scent dogs in the hunt for their son Kyle. When Kyle was first swept away during January's vicious flooding and storms the California National Guard deployed a legion of resources - including helicopters, drones, dive teams, sonar devices, and cadaver dogs - to find him, and Governor Gavin Newsome said 'We won't give up until we find Kyle.'
