MSNBC host's absurd take on Dem's trip to El Salvador

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell has claimed a Democratic senator 'outsmarted' by over what looked to be margaritas.

The left-leaning star - who once wrote for the West Wing - reacted to the subtropical summit between Sen. Chris Van Hollen and Kilmar Abrego Garcia live, after it was announced by the senator's office late Thursday through a photo-op.

The images show Abrego Garcia and the Senator meeting in San Salvador over drinks, with two glasses with cherries and salted rims before them. Hollen called the meet a 'simple humanitarian request designed 'to see if [he] is doing OK.'
