Multiple deaths have been reported after two small planes collided in mid-air at a California airport.The city of Watsonville said the crash took place at 2.56pm local time (7.56am AEST).The two planes - a single-engine Cessna 152 and a twin-engine Cessna 340 - collided as they both came in for their final approaches, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
