State offices are on a two-delay delayed opening Thursday because of the winter storm that covered much of New Jersey with snow, Gov. Phil Murphy's office announced Wednesday night.
The delay is to allow time for roads, parking lots and sidewalks to be cleared. It applies to all non-essential workers. The nor'easter knocked out power to more than 320,000 homes and businesses and dumped more than a foot of snow or more on parts of the state.
