Yogi Berra's adage of 'it ain't over 'til it's over' reared its ugly head in the New York State sectional baseball championships as one team celebrated too early - gifting their opposition the title.In the championship game for Section V in the town of Batavia out in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York, Hornell High School held a 5-4 lead with one strike left against Palmyra-Macedon (Pal-Mac) - who had a runner on base.After Pal-Mac scored three runs in the seventh and final inning leading up to this at-bat, the home plate umpire called a third strike which the catcher dropped.
