As New York state heads down the road of legalizing recreational marijuana, politicians are attempting to give a first crack at supply for sale to those convicted of marijuana-related offenses in the past, as well as a $200million fund to help them. Governor Kathy Hochul is expected on Thursday to announce the initiative, which could also be taken advantage of by the family members of people convicted of weed-related offenses, the reported.
