Newlywed husband learns fate after decapitating his 21-year-old wife

A man who pleaded guilty to the savage murder of his young wife was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

Jared James Dicus, 23, was handed the lengthy sentence by District Court Judge Gary Chaney after confessing to police last year that he beheaded his wife of less than four months, 21-year-old Anggy Diaz.

As part of Dicus' plea agreement, he waived all his rights to appeal the verdict or the sentence.
