NFL star gets brutally released by his team after just a year

The have announced they are releasing wide receiver Gabe Davis.

It comes almost two weeks after they took Travis Hunter, who plays both receiver and cornerback, with the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL draft.

The Jaguars signed Davis to a three-year, $39million deal just last offseason. But he played only 10 games, finishing with 20 catches for 239 yards after suffering a season-ending knee injury in November.
