A wealthy Nigerian politician, his academic wife and a medical 'middleman' were today all found guilty of trafficking a penniless market trader to the UK to harvest his kidney in a NHS hospital.In the first case of its kind in the UK, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, 60, his wife Beatrice, 56, and Dr Obinna Obeta, 50, all face up to ten years in jail after they were convicted at the Old Bailey of conspiring to exploit a young man from Lagos who said he was 'treated like a slave'.The Ekweremadus' daughter Sonia, 25, who was to receive a kidney from the trafficking victim, wept as she was cleared of the same charge this morning. But she tearfully hugged her father and mother as they was sent down from the dock.
