Presidential hopeful Nikki Haley is visiting the southern border next week, becoming the first announced presidential candidate to go survey the migrant crisis first-hand.While has made several trips to the barrier between the U.S. and , he has not yet done so in his capacity as a presidential candidate – but he did hold his first major 2024 campaign rally a few hundred miles from the border in Waco, on Saturday.Haley, joined by Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales, will travel to Texas on April 3 and make stops between San Antonio in the northwest tip of the state down to Eagle Pass, some of the areas that have seen the heaviest migrant traffic in recent years.
