Students in the pro-Kremlin eastern regions of Ukraine have released a cover version of a popular sea shanty - and changed the lyrics to glorify 's war of aggression. British folk singer Nathan Evans, from Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, had last year released his rendition of the traditional sea shanty Wellerman, which dates from the mid-1800s and tells the story of a whaling ship.The song topped the UK singles chart and became a smash hit internationally, but its distinctive melody is now being used to spout pro-Russian propaganda amid the country's invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.
