Those with lingering health issues after catching Covid should avoid caffeine, , sugar and 'hard-to-digest' foods in order to restore gut health, a nutritionist has revealed.Australian clinical nutritionist Lee Holmes from said the gut is the body's 'epicentre to health' which can become severely impacted after catching the virus.Ms Holmes advised giving your gut a break from certain foods, sugary drinks and alcoholic beverages, allowing for repair of the gut lining and inflammation.
