subway riders are furious with city officials after the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) unveiled a brand new, 'stunning' staircase that cost $30million - while the decrepit and filthy subway system continues to struggle with at an all-time high.The 28-step staircase, which works out at more than a million dollars per step, is at the busy Times Square station on 42nd Street in Manhattan's Midtown.
