Edmonton Oilers star Evander Kane is in stable condition after suffering a gruesome wrist laceration in Tampa on Tuesday when he fell and was cut by Lightning forward Pat Maroon's skate blade.The hectic scene unfolded along the benches, where blood could be seen on the ice as a panicked Kane leapt to his feet and began speeding to the bench where he received immediate medical attention. He was subsequently hospitalized and was scheduled to have a procedure on the wrist Tuesday evening.'The news that I've received so far, it's very limited, is that he's in a good spot,' Edmonton coach Jay Woodcroft said. 'He's getting well taken care of.'
