A terrified pre-teen desperately tried to keep her unconscious friends safe from assault after they allegedly were drugged at a sleepover by the host's father, a court has heard.The 12-year-old sent a series of frantic text messages pleading for rescue as Michael Meyden, 57, allegedly prowled the home in Lake Oswego, , to see if the tranquilizers had taken effect. Meyden has denied the accusations against him.She was the only one of the four girls to refuse most of the spiked smoothies he insisted they drank, and later pretended she was asleep as Meyden repeatedly tried to edge one of her drugged friends away from her, a probable cause affidavit claims.
