Pacific Palisades fire map: Track where hellish blaze is heading next

A huge section of southern was ablaze Tuesday night westward, a fire map shows.

The fire erupted at around 10.30am, when authorities announced that it spanned 200 acres. But within half an hour, the inferno expanded to an cover 770 acres.

It has since reached over 1,200 acres, and is destroying about 'three football fields' of land every sixty seconds.
