Pete Hegseth's kids go viral over reaction to his White House speech

The hosted its annual Egg Roll on Monday in what was meant to be a 'festive' event for children.

But Defense Secretary , 44, seized the opportunity to launch into a furious tirade at reporters on the South Lawn while his visibly uncomfortable children stood behind him.

Hegseth attended the event with wife Jennifer Rauchet and their blended family of seven children.
