Venture capitalist Peter Thiel has revealed he did not follow his own fund's advisors when they decided to move all their money out of Silicon Valley Bank, and had $50 million in his personal account when it collapsed last week.Thiel would have lost almost all his money had the not stepped in on Sunday with Normally, only the first $250,000 is covered by Federal insurance.
