The PGA Tour and DP World Tour have agreed to work with Saudi backers of LIV Golf to decide how defectors to the rival league can return and what kind of punishment they should face, according to a framework agreement. The framework comes after the previously battling PGA Tour and LIV Golf called a ceasefire to golf's civil war and announced a bombshell merger. In a shocking move at the beginning of this month, the PGA Tour performed a U-turn on its stance on the Saudi-backed series, revealing it and the DP World Tour had agreed a deal with LIV to combine their businesses into a new, yet-to-be-named company.
