Professor resigns after saying she'd be 'tempted to shoot' Israelis

A Wake Forest University professor who resigned after saying she would be 'tempted to shoot' dance parties like the one committed a slaughter at says her employer threw her to the wolves.

Dr. Laura Mullen stepped down from her position as Kenan Chair of the Humanities in the english and creative writing department at the private university, whose endowment totals over $1.8billion annually.

She resigned 'for personal reasons' according to the school, just weeks after she made an inflammatory tweet in the wake of the Hamas attack that killed over 1,200.
