Rhode Island ‘predator’ convicted of kidnapping, killing Boston mom from nightclub

A Rhode Island man was convicted of kidnapping a Boston mom from a nightclub and killing her after she thought he would drive her to a friend’s place.

Louis Coleman III was found guilty by a federal jury on Wednesday for the 2019 slaying of 23-year-old Jassy Correia, despite Googling multiple ways to cover up the murder after he strangled her to death, the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts announced Wednesday.

First Assistant US Attorney Joshua Levy said Correia was a “vibrant young woman” who was tricked by a “predator.”
