Rob Lowe reveals St. Elmo's Fire sequel is in 'early stages'

revealed he's been developing a sequel for his 1985 film St. Elmo's Fire with Columbia Pictures following the success of his co-star Andrew McCarthy's Brats documentary.

'The studio and I have been talking about doing it for about four months,' the 60-year-old nominee told on Monday.

'Brats has only added to the excitement around it. But it's very, very, very, very, very early stages, so we will see.'
