Royal fans have been 'sobbing for joy' as they send their support to Princess Kate following her announcement that she has ended chemotherapy.

To the delight of millions of people the revealed today that she has completed her course of 'preventative chemotherapy' and plans to undertake a 'light programme' of public engagements over the coming months.

However she warns that 'doing what I can to stay free is now my focus' and admits that the last nine months have been a 'scary and unpredictable' time for her family.
