Staff at have given a final dust and polish to the grand chandeliers inside the Waterloo Chamber ahead of its reopening to the public tomorrow. Conservators were seen donning white gloves as they inspected and cleaned five intricate cut-glass features, which had been lowered from the 14m ceiling to nearby the floor. Obscured by scaffolding for 20 months during renovation work, the room is welcoming visitors back on Saturday, April 9.
